Be Like a Lightning Rod



I want to be like a lightning rod,
so the Thunder God can descend to the earth,
I receive universal energy to unite
heaven and earth within our own being.


The idea of a lightning rod was originally developed
for protecting buildings from lightning damage,
but it is NOT for "avoiding" a lightning strike itself.

It is for "catching" the lightning.

It channels the energy of the Thunder God
from a large iron pole with a sharpened tip,
and conduct it to ground.


As if I were to receive the command
from the Thunder God,
to be a lightning conductor,
to send the energy into the ground,

I accept what struck me
like a lightning bolt.


I straighten my inner core spindle,
the Light Pillar for the descent of the Thunder God,
extend it infinitely.


That inner lightning rod
is not something special to have,
but natural gifts for everyone.

Now a Light Pillar rises behind us.

エネルギーを受けとる
避雷針のような存在に
なりたい


雷神が降り立つ柱
内なる天と地を繋ぐ
避雷針のように



落雷の害から
建物や人を守るために
生まれたという避雷針は　

雷を「避ける」
ためのものではなく

その高く掲げられた鋭敏な先端から　
雷神が放つ電光を　一身に受け
自らを通し　大地に流すもの



わたしは　雷のように
自分を襲ったものを
受け容れる


雷神から受けた命を
自らを通し　大地に流すように

内なる心棒を　ととのえ
その神 飛来する光の柱を
無限大に伸ばしてゆく


それはなにも
特別なものではなく

生まれながらに　
みなが背後にもつ
光の柱なのだ
